Donate physical items
We also accept donations of hardware, software, and documentation: consoles, home computers, peripherals, games, manuals, magazines, cables, and original packaging. Condition is not a barrier. We restore what we can, and machines beyond repair supply parts for those we are able to return to working order.
Write to donations@bitstobytesmuseum.org and describe what you have. These details help us respond quickly:
- Make and model, and approximately how many items
- Condition, and whether the item has been powered on recently
- Photographs, if you are able to take them
- Any manuals, boxes, cables, or media included
- Your location, and whether you can ship or need the items collected
We cannot accept every donation, most often because of storage limits. We will respond either way before you make arrangements to send anything.
